Bringing Joy to Living Spaces
Steve and Sandra wanted to transform their living space into something sleeker and more modern. Their vision included a new glass fireplace, built-in shelving, and an updated stair rail to create a cohesive, contemporary look throughout the room. We were excited to partner with them to bring that vision to life and create a space they would truly enjoy spending time in.
To anchor the room, we designed and built a custom wall unit featuring glass shelving and recessed lighting. Using our SignatureCraft cabinet line, we crafted built-in cabinetry that added both style and functionality to the den while maintaining the clean, modern aesthetic the clients wanted.
The fireplace became a striking focal point of the space. Steve and Sandra selected a beautiful hearth stone that was carefully installed and stacked vertically, enhancing the visual impact of the fireplace while seamlessly tying into the surrounding wall unit and mantle.
Before installing the new wall unit, we also reinforced the existing floor structure beneath the area. By strengthening the floor joists, we ensured the space could properly support the added weight of the hearth, waterfall (vertical stone), and built-ins. This important step provided the long-term stability and durability needed for the new design.
