Fort Wayne Kitchen Remodel
Our clients had recently purchased a new home, but the kitchen didn’t meet their expectations. They were accustomed to higher-quality cabinets and countertops, and the existing layout also presented challenges, especially as they considered long-term comfort and accessibility. We began the process by listening carefully to what mattered most to them. From there, we designed a kitchen that was not only beautiful, but also functional, safe, and a place they would truly enjoy spending time in—especially since Kay loves to bake.
During our design consultation, they shared that one of their biggest frustrations was constantly bending down to use the oven. To solve this, we reconfigured the cooking area and surrounding cabinetry to incorporate a wall oven positioned at a more comfortable height.
Another priority was brightening the space. The original kitchen felt dark and heavy due to the existing cabinetry. By selecting our SignatureCraft cabinets in natural maple, the room was instantly transformed into a lighter, more inviting space. Because the kitchen is the heart of their home and used frequently, they also wanted countertops that reflected the quality they were used to. They chose top-of-the-line quartz, providing both beauty and durability to complete the new design.
Knowing how much Kay enjoys baking, our designers suggested an additional custom feature—a built-in base mixer shelf. This clever solution eliminates the need to lift her heavy KitchenAid mixer, allowing her to continue doing what she loves in a much easier and safer way.
Working with our custom cabinet line allows us to tailor every detail to our clients’ needs. From specialized drawers to personalized shelving systems, we can design a kitchen that truly supports the way they live.
